A directory with a point of view.

Agentdex is a curated directory of AI tools and AI agents. Our team selects, tests, and reviews every listing. It is not a marketplace. Third parties cannot sell through Agentdex, and we never take payments for other companies' products. The only things we sell are our own digital packs: prompt packs and AI agent configuration packs, priced from $5 to $29 as one-time purchases, with checkout through Polar. Software companies can buy clearly labeled advertising slots. Those slots buy visibility only and never affect rankings or scores.

What tested means right now

Scores are preliminary editorial notes from a short hands-on pass. They are not benchmark results, not pass rates, and not for sale. A shared task suite is not published yet, so we do not print speed, cost, or success-rate figures.

The number on a listing is a preliminary editorial score from that pass: setup, everyday editing, multi-step agent work, and how clearly the docs and controls behave. It will move when we publish a shared task suite. Until then we do not print speedups, dollar costs, or pass rates.

What we will not do

• Take a listing fee that pretends to be a review.
• Let a sponsor reorder the directory or edit a score.
• Sell a subscription, seat, or license that belongs to another company.
